Social Media Shots Embedding Classifier

Purpose

This model was designed to recognize some of the most common types of photos posted to social media by individual users. The model’s training data mirrors the types of photos seen across various social media sites. Marketing teams can derive value from applying the model to social listening and trend monitoring the visual side of social media. Influencers and photographers can use the model to visually organize and explore their own photo collections.

Intended Use

UGC photos and videos posted to social media. Photos posted to social media are most often taken with smartphones or other devices, so the most common image aspect ratios are 1:1 and 3:4 (or, square photos and portrait-orientated photos).
