Challenge
The Complex Challenges of Adopting AI
Slow to Build & Adopt
Organizations are facing constant challenges around building their own AI integration and apps, which leads to lack of standardization, skill gap shortage and slower time to value
AI Sprawl
There are endless options across models, data, orchestration, and AI technologies and orgs are facing challenges around duplicated costs across teams using different solutions and lack of collaboration
Trust, Risk, & Security
Organizations are struggling to adopt AI in a responsible manner, as different AI point solutions lack oversight and control, risking exposure and leaking of sensitive data and eroding brand and trust

Dr. Matthew Zeiler, founder and CEO of Clarifai, is a machine learning Ph.D. and thought leader pioneering the field of applied artificial intelligence (AI). Matt’s groundbreaking research in computer vision alongside renowned machine learning experts Geoff Hinton and Yann LeCun has propelled the image recognition industry from theory to real-world application. Since starting Clarifai in 2013, Matt has evolved his award-winning research into developer-friendly products that allow enterprises to integrate AI quickly and seamlessly into their workflows and customer experiences.
Dr. Aaron Reite is the Senior Director of Research at Clarifai, an AI platform for enterprise solutions. Previously, he spent 16 years in the Intelligence Community, most recently at the NGA, leading AI research for remote sensing imagery and large language models. Prior to that, he was an Applied Research Mathematician at the NSA. Dr. Reite holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from UCLA.
Mark Lowell is a staff research scientist at Clarifai working on artificial intelligence. After earning a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, he worked at Booz Allen Hamilton and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency on computer vision for object detection in overhead imagery. His research interests include computer vision, deep learning theory, and ecological modeling.
Peter Rizzi is a Mathematics Ph.D. interested in machine learning. He received his Bachelors and Graduate degrees at George Mason University and has 10+ years of experience working in the Government/Defense space. Currently, he is at Clarifai which is the leading independent AI company and "widely seen as one of the most promising startups in the crowded, buzzy field of machine learning."
Christopher Mullarkey is a Senior Research Scientist at Clarifai working in machine learning and computer vision. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Rochester in the field of Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) Physics. Since then he has worked in the defense space as an imaging scientist and machine learning researcher with a focus in computer vision for remote sensing.
