Clarifai at AWS re:Invent

Dr. Matthew Zeiler, founder and CEO of Clarifai, is a machine learning Ph.D. and thought leader pioneering the field of applied artificial intelligence (AI). Matt’s groundbreaking research in computer vision alongside renowned machine learning experts Geoff Hinton and Yann LeCun has propelled the image recognition industry from theory to real-world application. Since starting Clarifai in 2013, Matt has evolved his award-winning research into developer-friendly products that allow enterprises to integrate AI quickly and seamlessly into their workflows and customer experiences.

Doug Shapiro is Chief of Staff & Senior Director of Operations at Clarifai. Clarifai has everything enterprises need to build, test and deploy production AI. Previously Doug advised CFOs on technology costs at Gartner, government agencies at Booz Allen Hamilton, and was a Research Analyst in the African Department at the International Monetary Fund. Doug holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Jonathan leads Clarifai's Public Sector sales team and oversees the expansion of governmental partnerships. He joined Clarifai with 30 years of experience in software sales and extensive industry knowledge, with significant experience doing business development with federal civilian and defense agencies. Before joining Clarifai, he oversaw UIPath's public sector business, which resulted in over $20M in sales and expanded their customer base to over 75 U.S. Federal customers in three and a half years. Jonathan has also held senior business development roles at OpenText, IBM, Microsoft, and Adobe. He holds a music education and business degree from the Musicians Institute of Technology.

For over 20 years, Alfredo has worked in various technology companies with a focus on product-led enterprise growth. At Clarifai, he's responsible for Product, Marketing, Research, and Engineering. Prior to Clarifai, he was the General Manager of Vistaprint's digital business. During his career, Alfredo has worked in various leadership roles at Webs, Web.com, and Network Solutions. He holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School, a MLA in Information Systems from Harvard University Extension School and a Hon.BSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.

Pratik Chavda is a seasoned Technical Sales Executive and Go-to-Market (GTM) and Alliance Leader with a rich background in AI, data management, and cloud-native solutions. He has held key roles at companies like Clarifai and Cohesity, where he led enterprise sales and business development, developing deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and AI-driven technologies. With a passion for crafting impactful go-to-market strategies and building strategic partnerships, Pratik is dedicated to helping enterprises navigate cloud transformation and leverage the power of AI.

Patrick Connell is a Sr Sales Account Executive covering the Central US at Clarifai with over 14 years of experience in the industry. He is based in Austin, Texas. He has a strong background as an Account Executive, having worked with several well-known companies before joining Clarifai. Patrick is highly enthusiastic about AI and computer vision, bringing his expertise and passion to drive sales and business growth in the tech sector.
